Experience the return of the POPular event filled with a fusion of science, entertainment, and jaw-dropping bubble artistry at Discovery Cube Orange County! Step into a world of bubbles in the Mega Bubblefest Laser Show, where world-renowned bubble artists perform mind-blowing tricks, and explore hands-on bubble science interactive exhibits in the festival area, the Bubble Zone!

Sensory Friendly Morning and Show

Exclusive to Sensory-Friendly Bubble Show ticket holders (April 13 at 10:30 AM only): Gain early access to The Cube and Bubblefest Festival starting at 8:00 AM, and enjoy a special sensory-friendly Mega Laser Bubble Show at 10:30 AM.

Sensory Friendly show is modified with reduced show volume, reduced mic volume for performers, increased theater lighting during the show, and reduced intensity of lights and special effects

Parking is $8 and can be purchased onsite only based on availability. Memberships with annual parking passes are valid. Membership annual parking passes do not guarantee a parking spot as parking is a first come, first served basis.

 

Mega Bubblefest Laser Show

The bubbles are back! Discovery Cube Orange County, Southern California’s leading children’s science museum is excited to welcome back Orange County’s #1 family-friendly Bubble-tastic event! This year, we’re bringing bubble enchantment to life with new, mesmerizing bubble tricks and a spectacular display with more bubbles than ever before! Be immersed in a galaxy of bubbles blended with comedy, science, art, and entertainment featuring the world’s first ozonated organic bubble solution; a proprietary solution developed by the world’s most renowned bubble artists, Fan Yang and Melody Yang.

*Please be advised that strobe lights and lasers are used during the show.

Located in the Julianne Argyros Showcase Theater on the second floor.

Bubble Zone Festival

Explore bubble science through the unique Bubble Zone festival! This includes a demo lab, paddle boats, bubble drums and hoops, and much more!

Located on the first floor next to Sea Lab.

Bubblefest is appropriate for kids and adults alike!

 

Answer:

A Bubblefest ticket provides access to both the show and festival activities. There is no discount for partial admission.

Answer:

Children 2 and under do not need a General Admission or Bubblefest ticket to participate, if the child is lap-sitting. If a child will require their own seat they will need a Bubblefest ticket.

Answer:

The Bubble Zone Festival area is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM during the run of Bubblefest. Guests with Bubblefest tickets can access this area during this time — be sure to watch for your showtime!

Answer:

Strollers are not permitted inside the Showcase Theater where the Mega Bubblefest Laser Show is held.

Strollers are permitted everywhere else. We recommend using a small light weight stroller if possible. Please follow stroller parking signs

We strongly recommend all guests plan to arrive 1 hour prior to their designated show time due to increased street and parking traffic.

Depending on your engagement with our exhibits and the size of your party, your length of stay can vary greatly. If you are looking to just experience Bubblefest, we recommend about two to three hours to see the show and explore our bubble programming and activities.

The Paddle Boats is an exclusive experience only located in the Bubble Zone festival area. A Bubblefest ticket is required.

Weight requirements for this experience:

  • Children: Under 120 pounds
  • Adults: Under 180 pounds

Bubblefest tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Showtimes for Bubblefest tickets may be exchanged (1) once per ticket based on availability. Exchanges must be processed no less than 24 hours in advance of the original show date and time.

New tickets are processed and charged at the current rate of those tickets and the purchaser will be responsible for any additional cost.
