Environmental Programs
Discovery Cube partners with a variety of agencies to offer FREE water, waste, and recycling programs to students in specific service areas. These programs are conducted at the school site, are grade-level specific, and correlate with NGSS and Environmental Principles & Concepts.
In-Person and Virtual options available
In partnership with Orange County Waste and Recycling, Discovery Cube Orange County offers a FREE Environmental Education Assembly two part Program for 5th and 6th-grade students in Orange County.
In-Person program includes a 50 minute assembly at your school as well as a field trip to Discovery Cube Orange County
- Grade-specific curriculum aligned with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
- Hands-on activities that are easy to replicate in the classroom including: Renewable and Non-Renewable Resources, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Composting and Organics.
- Bus stipend is available for field trip to Discovery Cube Orange County
Virtual program option includes a two part, 40 minute assembly conducted via Zoom or the platform of your school’s choice.
